Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Foster positive industrial relations through close collaboration with members and shipping management to cultivate a harmonious work environment, optimizing benefits for our seafaring community.
- Address grievances, mediate conflicts, and negotiate collective agreements to safeguard the welfare of seafarers.
- Support fellow seafarers in achieving improved livelihoods and quality of life.
- Champion initiatives aimed at upskilling and enhancing productivity among seafarers to elevate earning potentials and enhance their well-being.
- Facilitate research opportunities on maritime issues with potential impacts at local, national, or international levels.
- Strategize and coordinate initiatives promoting constructive bipartite and tripartite relationships within the maritime sector.
- Minimum Diploma in any field, with diverse levels of professional experience;
- Proficient in interpersonal communication across all levels.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Quick-thinking and adaptable.
- Capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team.
- Exhibits high levels of perseverance and passion.
