He/She also provides timely and effective service delivery and solutioning to minimise disruption and enhance guest satisfaction. He/She also plans the property\'s IT future needs including preparing business plan and capital budgets. The IT manager is also responsible to ensure all IT software, hardware, equipment and peripherals are set-up, installed for smooth operations of the Hotel.Our Expectations:

  • Responsible for effective Information Technology (IT) Service Management while delivering and supporting IT services that are appropriate to the business requirements
  • Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) meet property and corporate standards.
  • Continuously review and evaluate existing IT Systems for up-to date and robust performance and recommend areas of improvement.
  • Keep updated of latest technological trends and practices, incorporating them into IT initiatives and plans
  • Administer IT systems of property and be responsible to resolve hardware and software problem, closely following up with the IT Team and respective product/service Vendor for resolution.
  • Provide data analysis and management reporting required to evaluate effectiveness of current systems and identify opportunities and any non-compliance to policy and procedure.
  • Respond to users\' requests for general helpdesk support, troubleshooting, installation, upgrade and maintenance of all Business Application and Database systems.
  • Ensure timely and completeness of all systems and data backup as well as restoration of Application, Databases and User\'s data files including the mail server.
  • Constantly monitor and ensure maximum security of the total IT systems electronically/physically from any internal and/or external sources and establish effective disaster recovery contingency plan in case of system failure.
  • Administer and monitor user access activity log of Network, Applications Servers and Databases. Review system logs and Application user logs to trace any non-compliance activities for corrective action.
  • Review Antivirus System Console to monitor for Virus Activities and ensure all systems are updated to the latest release of virus definitions.
  • Enforce IT policies/procedure of the property with respect to download/install/use of unauthorized Software and miss use of property\'s IT resources.
  • Identify IT training needs for users and develop a continuous process of improvement by learning. Work with the Learning & Development team to organize and/or conduct IT related training.
Talent Profile
  • Degree qualified in Information Technoloy with at least 5 years in a similar capacity
  • Previous working experience in a LAN/WAN environment as Manager IT/ Systems Administrator/ Business Application Analyst Working knowledge of Hospitality PMS including System setup, LAN setup, Project management, System configuration, Installation and Training.
  • Possess working knowledge of Hotel management business applications, Microsoft Desktop and Network Operating Systems, Antivirus and E-Mail/Internet systems.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Familiarity with other Office packages is preferable.
  • Certification in Microsoft Professional Courses and other IT Certifications are preferable.
  • A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
