Job Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Network / System Associates, Administrators and Engineers.
• Manage IT (Network, System, Application, Data Centre Operation and Cloud Services). Provide standard procedures and controls to ships and overseas offices in maintaining IT services for respective Data Centre/Cloud Services / subscriptions.
• Plan and Design Infrastructure Network, Systems and Business meet Business requirements.
• Plan and Develop IT Security policies to prevent unauthorized access, risk and malicious attack.
• Recognizes and takes action when escalation and de-escalation is required for critical and urgent cases and follow designated procedures.
• A project leader in appointed / undertaking project(s).
• Provide Weekly/Monthly status report on work progress
• To carry out safety and security duties from time to time and be assigned as member of the Crisis Management Team, as and when needed
• Any other ad-hoc function required by supervisor / superior.

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with 4-5 year\xe2\x80\x99s work experiences in similar capacity
• Operational support experience, preferably in a 24x7 environment
• Creative and objective disposition with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to handle high pressure situations and prioritize multiple projects
• Extensive practical experience in all aspects of implementing and supporting enterprise IT technology such as: Windows, Linux, SAN, NAS, Networking, Firewall/Security Protections, Clustering/High Availability, Virtualized systems, backup system Cloud services like AWS and Azure, Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT systems and architecture patterns
• Experience in Project Management.
• Disaster recovery experience.

• Ability to express oneself efficiently and effectively in both written and verbal communication
• Proactive, assertive, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
