Job Summary:

Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), a leading data center hardware solution provider, has developed 5G end-to-end solutions spanning from data center and edge, to on-premises, to drive fundamental changes in the way telco operators and enterprise plan, deploy and manage their infrastructure with greater flexibility, scalability and cost-effectiveness.

QCT is looking for Infrastructure Architect / Specialist based in Singapore Office. As an Infrastructure Architect / Specialist, you will join the QCT solution team and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, and accountability mindset. You will help to promote and realize the major telco product lines including IronInfra (Public and Private Network) and related hardware, to address infrastructure modernization and digital transformation needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work independently on System Engineering/Pre-sales activities which will include but not be limited to:

• Understand and familiar with at least one of the infrastructure technologies, like virtualization, cloud native and NFVI

• Responsible in architecture planning, solution integration and deployment based on QCT infrastructure hardware products

• Prepare and manage QCT Open Lab to provide a complete 5G end-to-end infrastructure environment to serve for partners to develop and test their solution in 5G environment

• Analyze customer information to prepare solution proposal and presentation on technical part, including 5G infrastructure architecture, network topology, acceptance criteria and disclaimer

• Provide infrastructure demonstration and proof of concept on customer site.

• Prepare Scope Of Work including Work Breakdown Structure, team roster, Roles & Responsibility and delivery schedule

• Responsible to train, manage and update to Local system integrator on the product/ technology knowledge
• Ensure QCT’s IronInfra (Public and Private Network) and related hardware products meet the prospect's requirements and assist sales team in technical qualification during the qualifying process
• Work closely across teams including Sales, Business Development and Product Development to obtain the latest Product information/ Technology know-how
• Conduct competitor’s product analysis

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Telco infrastructure such as initial knowledge of like virtualization, cloud native, NFVI, OpenStack, Kubernetes, applications, and functionality.
• A technical mindset and willingness to develop that into technical sales/consulting with a passion for learning and facilitating the learning of others.
• Good understanding on Linux, cloud, appliance and NFV/VNF-based architectures and their value in solutions
• Broad 5G knowledge including 5G infrastructure and use cases is an advantage
• Knowledge of programming languages, frontend and/or backend web-development is a plus
• Familiar with 3GPP and GSMA standards and key features required in Wireless deployments is preferred
• Understanding of mobile telecommunication network is a plus
• Willingness to travel when necessary
• Fluent in English for professional business communication. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus
