Infrastructure Engineer
Job Description
-Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V), including storage systems.
-Create documentation, perform root cause analysis, quickly identify trends and recommend possible solutions.
-Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software related issues.
-Serve as a primary support and maintenance resource for customers.
-Perform required maintenance off hours and support 24x7 operations.
-Participate in requirements gathering.
-Present and promote solutions and services to highlight value add.
Requirements-2+ year's experience in virtualization technology
-Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking
-Knowledge of datacenter route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment
-Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration
-Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and project skills
-Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs
-Assess and evaluate current virtual computing infrastructure, and provide recommendations for enhancements
