Provide legal support to the business operations through review of contracts covering a variety of areas, and across South-East Asia.
Provide compliance support to the business operations throughout South-East Asia, by preparing compliance policies and compliance training materials, to raise awareness of various compliance areas.
Assist in advising the management and other internal stakeholders from the legal and compliance perspective on a wide variety of operational issues, contract-related matters, and compliance matters throughout South-East Asia.
Review of contracts/documentation relating to supply chain management from a legal and compliance perspective.
Requirements:
Degree in Law (NUS or SMU) and qualified to practice law in Singapore (admitted to the Singapore bar)
At least 1 year of post-qualification experience working for a Singapore law firm.
Experience in general corporate law would be ideal, but candidates with experience in other relevant areas of law would be considered, including litigation and/or restructuring and insolvency.
Good understanding of corporate law and contract law, while at the same time able to provide commercially-sound advice.
Strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
Meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player.
Highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision.
