The inside sales representative will partner the external sales representatives to serve our customers and deliver a high-level of service to them. The role is an important customer connector and relationship builder.
Attend swiftly to customers' enquiries and provide the needed support via phone, email and various communication platforms as required.
Proactively contact new and existing customers to canvass for new product sales leads or give advice on general product queries.
General daily work will include generation of product offers including SAP quotations, giving basic product recommendations and CRM sales lead creation.
Close teamwork with external sales on large project tenders and bids to produce tender proposals and ensure smooth project execution.
Basic 1st level product/tech enquiry support: Advice customers on basic technical enquiries (e.g. technical documentations, dimensions, pressure ratings and materials compatibility queries etc.), forwarding complex questions when necessary to internal technical specialists
Project coordination: Support external sales in overseeing project tracking and execution as necessary.
Work with backoffice department to ensure timely material availability and smooth site deliveries.
Requirement
Experienced in inside sales / customer service and /or Technical Sales preferably from piping/ valves/ fittings / pumps or related industry
Team lead experience is preferred
Good communication skills
Diploma in mechanical engineering or related technical education.
Knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP or equivalent.
CRM usage experience will be a plus.
AutoCAD skills an advantage for Senior roles.
