To perform risk-based inspection/ assessment for all Rotating and Static equipment in the plant.
To identify, analyse, highlight and report all equipment-related integrity failures or degradation problems.
To develop and recommend effective mitigation solutions/ corrective actions in accordance with the safety and regulatory requirements.
To establish equipment maintenance requirements, and implement periodic mechanical integrity inspection programmes.
To adapt and be updated with the latest technology in improving inspection accuracy and the reliability of data.
Perform the scoping work and prepare the job pack for process piping and in-service equipment based on engineering assessment and annual inspection plan.
Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspection activities including corrosion under Insulation (CUI) and corrosion under pipe support (CUP) on process piping and equipment according to an annual maintenance plan.
· Supervising and coordinating all on-stream and shutdown inspection and NDT activities for static equipment and in-service process piping. ·
Review of inspection test plan, WPS and method statement for any in-service repair work of piping and pressure vessels.
Interpret construction and technical drawings.
Acts as an internal independent party for the verification of quality welds and ensuring that incoming materials meet specifications.
Witness and verify the welding procedures qualification tests and welders’ performance qualification tests.
Monitor welders’ performance and the welding procedures to check for compliance.
Inspection at vendors' shop facilities and work-sites, on fabricated pipes, steel structure, blasting, painting works, galvanising or other installation works per ASME and ANSI codes, including verification of tests at their premises.
Well-versed in Autocad Plant 3D, and Faro SCENE 3D Point-cloud software.
Perform fit-up, visual and dimensional inspection and monitor all stages of welding on hull and ballast tank and fresh water tank and cargo tank and modules.
Conduct failure analysis analyse inspection/reliability data & develop an improvement plan.
Monitor the latest developments in inspection/materials and corrosion technology.
To Conduct Iso 9001:2015: ISO 17020 and Client Audits.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of mechanical experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
CSWIP 3.1 and API 570 Certification is minimum required.
