Job title: Instrument Commissioning Engineer Work Location: Onshore & Offshore
Setting-up and implementing the inspection and test record systems to cover the systems contained within the project.
Attending various vendor factory acceptance tests.
Reviewing vendor procedures and certification.
Setting-up and controlling the commissioning and vendor teams.
Leading the site C&E matrix, control narratives with in the package and with the ICSS system etc...
Coordinating with main contractors and sub-contractors to carry out system completion.
Hand on experience in calibrating the field instrument & panel equipment's.
Function: Worked with various control systems not limited to PCS, SIS, FGS ,SSIV ,W.I, C.I, Compressors, Turret ,Boiler generator, AFDS,Fuel ,Offloading systems.
Hands on execution on field instrument, analyzers calibrations and commissioning.
Coordinate with the various authorities in the certification of the plan, equipment and systems.
Work with the operations group, in the final testing, commissioning and start-up of the facilities.
Oversee the formulation and content of the hand-over dossiers.
Maintain the as-built drawing during the pre-comm and commissioning stages of the project.
Reporting To: Lead Instrument Commissioning Engineer Purpose of Role: Co-ordinate control & manage the pre-Comm and commissioning of all Instrument & Control system-based packages in the projects.Key Responsibility Areas Key Deliverables
ICSS system pre-com & Complete the CTPs for the marine and Topside system
commissioning including ICSS
C&E matrix testing Complete SAT & CTPs with client & ABS
Familiar with all Field Hand on calibration experience for control valve, flowmeters, instrument calibration activity transmitters, switches & shutdown valves
Hand on involvement with all packages like Compressor, Familiar with all process system Water treatment, Crude & Gas Metering, GTG, SRU package commissioning activity are mandatory.
Must have hands-on experience in the commissioning and Analyzer's experience maintenance of various type of analyzers.
Must have hand on experience in handling various Panels UCP commissioning including vibration and temperature monitoring device etc...
Critical Success Factor for the Job Role: Needs to have hand on execution in commissioning the ICSS system, vendor package UCP's & other control system-based packages.Job SpecificationsQualification and Experience: Minimum as Bachelor of Electronic /Instrument Engineering or Equivalent qualification with more than 10 to 15 years of construction & commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas projects.Technical Competencies & Skills:
Worked with ICSS system (ABB/YOKOGAWA/SIEMENS /EMERSON/AB)
Familiar with field instrument calibration including analyzers.
Worked with all the process packages including field commissioning.
Familiar with all the vessel class regulation and codes.
