JOB DESCIPTION

Support procurement by providing technical inputs to ensure materials and services meet operational requirements. Identify and implement improvements in instrumentation systems to enhance reliability and efficiency. Supervise contractors and vendors, reviewing work procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Participate in relevant meetings and initiatives, contributing to business and operational decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: The work location is on Jurong Island

Basic understanding of DCS system, with the ability to navigate and view DCS systems and interfaces. Familiarity with local technical standards and regulations in Singapore is a must Ability to easily interpret P&ID diagrams and related instrument installation drawings. Proficient in using CAD for drafting and office software for documentation, capable of modifying or redesigning field drawings as needed. Fluent in more than 2 language is preferred, with strong skills in drafting formal letters and documents in English. Possess a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering with at least three (3) years of working experience in the instrumentation field, or a diploma in the same fields with at least seven (7) years of working experience in instrumentation field Proficient in the codes and standards in the power plant industry i.e. BSI, ISO27001, ANSI, IEC, IEEE, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, a team player and able to work with all levels of management and multinational staff * Hands-on experience in field instrumentation and sensors of different makes
