As an Associate Media Manager at Spark Foundry, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns for our clients. You will work closely with the Integrated Senior Manager and the broader media team to implement strategies that meet client objectives and deliver results. This role involves managing media channels, analyzing data, and collaborating with clients and team members.

Expectations of an Associate Media Manager:

  • Assist in the development of media strategies and plans, including identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate media channels, and determining the budget and schedule for campaigns.
  • Conduct research and analyse data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities in the media landscape that can be leveraged for clients\' campaigns.
  • Oversee the professional growth and development of direct reports.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on campaign progress, and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as creative, media partners, and analytics, to ensure media plans align with overall campaign objectives and messaging.
  • Negotiate and secure media placements, including digital, print, broadcast, and other channels, to optimize reach and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance, including analysing data on impressions, click-through rates, conversions, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present reports to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting campaign results, insights, and recommendations for future optimization.
  • Maintain relationships with media partners, staying informed on industry trends, and identifying new opportunities for clients.
  • Provide support in managing budgets, invoicing, and other financial aspects of media campaigns.
  • Continuously update knowledge of media planning and buying tools, platforms, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, such as coordinating meetings, maintaining records, compiling regional reports, and preparing presentation materials.
Qualifications
  • 3 - 4 years of media planning experience
  • Conversant with digital media and able to think across the whole media mix, hands-on experience with various technology platform
  • Proficient in media planning and analytics tools, such as Global Web Index, Nielsen tools, Google Ads, Google CM360, and Meta Ads Manager. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Familiar with various media channels, including digital, out-of-home, radio and print, as well as an understanding of media planning and buying processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written or oral)
  • Strong understanding of media terminology & concepts
  • Sense of commercial acumen
  • Attention to detail and numeracy
  • Possess rigor with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
