Role: Integration Platform Product Owner
Level: Senior Manager

  • Singpost adopts Boomi iPAAS as the Group main B2B Integration product.
  • This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility to ensure the product is not only scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective, but also meets the needs of internal customers and business partners contributing to SingPost business success.
  • You will be fully responsible for all matters relating to B2B data integration (with Business Partners or Internal Application to Application) providing best-in-class solution/service to internal and external and in compliance to guidelines set within Organization.
  • Develop and maintain a set of standard API for business partners with full documentation and SDK.
  • Experience working with batch-oriented system/process, integrated with real-time system on operational process status updates.
  • This role will lead a team of functional and technical developers responsible for mapping and building, as well as technical advice and/or support, with complete design and documentation.
  • The role will work closely with relevant departments within Singpost, to ensure we collaborate to deliver integration product to our end-customer in the shortest time possible and aligned with organizational quality standards.
  • This role will ensure that all integration projects within area of responsibility, ensuring timely reporting of project status and health, including risk management.
  • This role will be required to manage user expectations effectively.
Vendor Management
  • This role will manage all 3rd party vendors/service providers, including but not limited to software provider, managing/drive vendors in the regular cadence review such as monthly service review, QBR, Cloud provider (Azure, AWS), including, but not limited to product-fit-analysis as input to Product Roadmap and leading regular cadence service review, quarterly business review, ensuring SLA conformance.
  • This role owns Service Management process, including creating/maintaining/improving relevant processes, such as capacity management, change management, release management, incident management, problem management.
  • This role will oversee and/or own the hiring and training process to ensure level of standard.
  • This role own, maintain, and ensure inventory of hardware/software/technology stack is up-to-date, including outsourced component.
Performance Metric
This role will be responsible to ensure performance standard is managed and achieved, including establishing, monitoring Performance Metric and holding right party accountable for achieving the agreed metrics.
The role will be measured based on the following, but not limited to:
  • Alignment with overall organizational strategy and roadmap, from capabilities, functionalities, and budgetary perspective.
  • Design and implement integration architecture in conformance to organizational guidelines and deliver best-in-class architecture, including but not limited to establishing reference architecture.
  • SLA Performance, both from build and BAU/Run, eg both integration development/project speed, integration issues related to quality and stability.
  • Cost efficiency, operating within agreed budget, demonstrating operation at speed and at scale.
  • Amount of re-usable components within the integration portfolio.

  • Internal: Application/Product Manager, Regional Site/terminal Manager/supervisor
  • External: Supplier
Requirement
  • Comfortable working in a very dynamic environment with various stakeholders.
  • This is a hands-on role, therefore prior at least 3-years experience in managing similar scope is required. Familiarity or expertise on API designer, AP manager, API studio, and others.
  • Excellent project management skills, with proven track-record for delivering complex solution on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), SOAP, and REST
  • Experience in managing multi-vendor, multi-platform product, managing hybrid remote and on-site team, across time-zone.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to WMS, TMS, parcel, e-commerce
  • Cloud technology, such as AWS, Azure is required.
  • B2B integration products, such as IBM Sterling, OpenText, WebMethod, Mulesoft, Azure EIS, Azure LogicApp/Functions, or any other ESB-product will be advantageous.
  • B2B protocols (Http, AS2, sFTP, API) and B2B formats (EDIFACTS, iDOC, X12, XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity with Agile framework tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps will be a plus
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow and familiarity/certified in ITIL Service Management.
