Job Description

The role We are seeking a qualified intangible asset executive to work on a range of online and offline enforcement matters in Asia. An ideal candidate will have a high proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese and experienced in handling brand protection and anti-counterfeiting work. Responsibilities:

• Running a caseload of contentious and non-contentious work
• Working with senior and junior members of the team to ensure that projects are successfully devised, pitched, and executed
• Client account management, including co-ordinating investigations, enforcement procedures, domain name disputes and managing customs recordals
• Client data management, including organising complex information relating to brands and cases
• Financial tracking - billing and client budget management
• CPD, legal research and industry developments \xe2\x80\x93 domestic and international

• Solicitor with qualifications in any jurisdiction, or Brand Protection Manager with 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• Experience of IP law, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting work in Asia, particularly China
• High proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
• Be able to prioritise matters, multitask and work under multiple deadlines
• Strong legal research capabilities
• Professional and personable communication and teamwork skills
