Interior Design & Project Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Singapore

5.5 days/week (Mon-Fri full day, Sat half-day)

Reporting to: Director, Zoro Interior Pte Ltd

About the Role:

Zoro Interior is seeking a skilled and reliable

Interior Design & Project Assistant

with

hands-on experience in commercial 3D drawing

. You will support the Director in design development, site coordination, material sourcing, and client communications. This role requires strong technical drawing ability and site experience -- no fresh graduates will be considered .

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Materials

Prepare 3D visuals and space planning layouts for commercial projects (e.g. F&B, retail, offices) Assist in material and color selection; liaise with suppliers for samples and quotations Create mood boards and update design concepts based on client input

Site & Project Coordination

Attend site visits for measurement, defect checks, and progress tracking Coordinate with subcontractors on-site and relay instructions from Director Ensure execution aligns with design intent and quality standards

Client & Admin Support

Attend client meetings with the Director and take notes Follow up on design changes, material confirmations, and quotation clarifications Prepare and send updated drawings or presentations as required

QS & Documentation

Assist in preparing and checking BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Track and update material usage, delivery logs, and cost comparisons

Executive Assistance

Act as a right-hand support to the Director on both creative and operational tasks Follow up on to-dos from site meetings and ensure timely execution

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial interior design (strictly no fresh grads) Strong portfolio in commercial 3D drawing (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent) Proficient in AutoCAD and space planning Site coordination experience preferred Detail-oriented, responsive, and able to multitask under pressure Speaks English well; Mandarin understanding is a plus for liaising with site teams
