You will join our Water department
As our new Intermediate Design Engineer, you will be part of the Ramboll Water team. You will join an interdisciplinary engineering team and work along landscape architects, urban designers, transport engineers, structural engineers, energy specialists and work on sustainable projects in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. You will be part of our Water team, delivering and managing innovative and sustainable design solutions for a wide range of developments through our multidisciplinary expertise in master planning, urban design and climate adaptation.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Based in Ramboll Singapore reporting to the Team Leader
• Technical oversight of engineering design and modelling for projects delivered for clients
• Rapid Flood Hazard assessments
• Build model and validation of inland and coastal networks
• Flood hazard mapping
• Options Analysis
• Mentorship and training of modelling staff based in the various offices
• Providing technical input and support to the water team
• Acting as key technical liaison with clients on engineering and modelling projects
• Regular liaison with Ramboll staff to share knowledge and best practice
• Work on WSUD, urban hydraulic projects from conceptual, schematic to detail design and occasionally provide site supervision for projects during construction phases.
• Work with the team to produce hydraulic and civil engineering designs
• Preparation of lectures/Project presentations/etc.
• Preparation of engineering models, spreadsheets, etc.
• If accredited by senior management for project management, the responsibilities are:

o Management of project teams in coordination with senior management
o Lead and/or coordinate tender preparation for projects
o General project management tasks (costs/schedules/fees/invoices/etc)
o Representation of Ramboll to external parties
o To liaise with Client, Client's Consultants, Contractor, and Authority to obtain design approval.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Health and Safety) or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
• Proficiency in DHI MIKE packages (or equivalent software), GIS packages such as ArcGIS or MapInfo or equivalent software
• Enthusiasm for innovative thinking and be willing to be actively involved in the wider Ramboll network modelling community
• At least 3-5 years' experience in project management and engaged in the role as a project manager
• Experience working on International Financial Institutional and/or development projects (e.g. World Bank, ADB) in the region will be of advantage
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
