Launched in November 2007 by Founding Patron and Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s Founding Prime Minister, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Business China aims to nurture a core pool of Singaporean bilingual and bicultural talents, and enterprises who can engage deeply in economic opportunities with China.Our work helps to foster mutual understanding, trust and cooperation between Singapore and China, and deepen Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s role in bridging the world and China.Our mission is to develop premier bilingual business programmes and networks, to generate interest in and strengthen understanding of the latest developments in China.As a non-profit organisation, Business China partners with the public and private sectors to:

• Nurture Singapore-China-ready youths,
• Cultivate Singapore-China-savvy business leaders and enterprises, and;
• Develop knowledge platforms and premium networks on China.

Duties & Responsibilities: * Assist and support the department in research, translating and checking of content.

• Drafting of speeches, notes of meeting, emails, and other administrative work.
• Supporting logistical arrangements for events/activities including, and not limiting to designing of publicity materials, copywriting and writing event reports.
• Conduct research and drafting reports on topics required by the team and management.
• Able to translate from English to Chinese and vice versa.
• Supporting the execution of the events, webinars and meetings.

Requirements: * Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin in written and verbal communication.

• Good knowledge and interest in China and international relations.
• Being a self-starter with a positive attitude is essential.
• Singapore Citizens/PRs may apply.
