Under this internship programme, you will be attached to the Coal Freight Trading Desk in JERA Global Markets Pte. Ltd.

During this internship, you will be given the opportunity to:

• Support the daily implementation and execution of freight and commercial transactions
• Assist to review standard freight contracts
• Conduct market research and structure new opportunities
• Analyse, and review reports with the aim of providing valuable commercial insight to the Coal Freight Traders
• Participate in strategic discussions to optimise trading activities
• Explore automation projects which will aid the department and the wider business

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the internship, you will be able to gain experience in Freight Operations & Freight Trading scope of work as well as the experience working in a world class commodity trading desk.
