What the role is:The intern will work with the corporate communications team to develop multimedia content that increases awareness of Tote Board\'s grantmaking efforts. He/She will play an active role in conceptualising and bringing these ideas to life on Tote Board\'s digital channels. In sourcing and curating these content, he/she will engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders from all levels, with the aim of enhancing awareness of Tote Board\'s grantmaking work and its role in the philanthropic sector.What you will be working on:Digital Media and Branding CommunicationsProject Description:The intern will be required to:Curate inspirational stories for external audiences and propose ways to present them in today\'s dynamic communications landscapeWork closely with agencies to produce videos focusing on the impact of Tote Board\'s grants.Assist the communications team in the launch phase of TikTok, as well as conceptualise channel and target audience specific contentWork closely with the social media/ TikTok creative agencies, grant beneficiaries and staff to curate engaging content that inspires a caring and resilient communityExplore new ideas and channels of communication that outreach to a wider/younger target audienceSupport the team in the implementing a staff brand ambassadorship programme internallySupport the team in other communications-related tasks if the need arisesWhat we are looking for:Requirements:A self-starter who is passionate about branding, communications, and new mediaA storyteller with strong communication and creative writing skillsAbility to research, engage external stakeholders and communicate effectivelyExperience in digital content creation and production work would be an advantagePossess an ability to think out of the box for new ideas and is enthusiastic about implementing themAvailable for a minimum of three monthsPreferred profile of Interns: Year 2 or 3, Communications Studies, New Media, Business or Marketing studentsLearning Outcome:The intern will have the opportunity to:Experience a spectrum of communications-related tasks working in a corporate communications team alongside brand and social media management agenciesExposure to and appreciation of public communications in the public service and non-profit sectorJoin us for an enriching internship experience and contribute to building a caring and resilient Singapore.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About Tote Board:Established in 1988, Tote Board (Singapore Totalisator Board) is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance.
