Duties and Responsibilities:Support the team in understanding Ensign's business domain and contribute to the development of data solutions that meet internal and customer needs. Assist in the design, development, and testing of data transformation processes and ETL pipelines under supervision. Help maintain and monitor data lake, data warehouse, and database environments. Participate in the deployment and support of data processing workflows, including debugging and troubleshooting. Learn to handle big data, focusing on data quality and consistency. Assist in managing development and staging environments to support project functionality and stability. Contribute to documentation efforts and follow best practices for software development and data management. Gain exposure to cloud services, containerization, and version control tools.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python scripting. Interest in data engineering concepts such as ETL, data pipelines, and data storage. Prior exposure to Scala, Go and/or Spark is an added advantage. * Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
