Internship Project Title:
C omputer vision & pattern recognition for defect detection using manufacturingimage

Description:

Computer vision and pattern recognition is widely applied in advanced semiconductormanufacturing to improve process efficiency and product quality. Manually review and inspect imagesgenerated from manufacturing is expensive and time consuming, deep learning and traditional computervision models can be utilized to analyze and extract pattern from images to help domain experts gain bettervisibility of the process/productefficiently.

Scope:

In this project, students are expected to -

• Use python to develop computer vision model using deeplearning/OpenCV to detect anomaly pattern from images, the model will be evaluated and validated withreal industry images to verify its performance and robustness.
• Use Angular to develop smart image labeling system with lightweight deep learning model to assist automated labeling proposals
• Collaborate with experiencedMicron team members to get guidance on computer vision techniques, learn how to develop, test, deploymodels under cloud platform.
• The solution developed will be shared within Micron data science communityfor further algorithm review andoptimization.
