About SG EnableAs the first-stop and focal agency for disability in Singapore, SG Enable raises awareness on disability issues and facilitates access to disability schemes and services. It brings partners together to share knowledge, collaborate and innovate, striving towards a common goal of building an inclusive Singapore and enabling lives. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2013, it is a registered charity and an Institution of a public character.About Enabling Academy DivisionEnabling Academy, the disability learning hub managed by SG Enable, forges collaborations that synergise the different strengths and expertise of our partners in education, business and disability. In doing so, it aims to bring fresh ideas and build capabilities in the training space to (i) provide diverse lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities that support them in their personal growth and professional development; (ii) upskill the formal and informal network of support around persons with disabilities and (iii) facilitate the practice of accessibility and inclusion among training providersProject DescriptionSupport the Division\'s key event, i.e. Learning Day to feature training programmes to support lifelong learning opportunities for persons with disabilities. We are also launching the Enabling Skills and Competency Framework that is a resource guide for training and development of persons with disabilities and their network of support (i.e. caregivers, sector professionals, employersKey Duties & Responsibilities / Work AreasThe intern will support the team in the various areas below (non-exhaustive):

  • Support the team in preparation for Learning Day and launch of the Enabling Skills and Competency Framework in Jul/Aug 2024.
Includes:
  • liaising with training partners on curation of programmes to be featured and publicity materials
  • liaising with event partner on the concept of visuals and supporting structures for the event
  • coordinating internally on logistics and administrative support for a smooth implementation.
Requirements
  • Open to university/poly undergraduates in relevant disciplines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with people
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
