We work within Energy, Buildings, Transport, Architecture and Landscape, Towers and Telecom, Environment and Health and Water.Ramboll Energy from Waste (EfW) & Carbon Capture Team in APACYou will be part of our Energy from Waste team that works with both large complex energy projects in the multi-million-dollar scale and also smaller projects e.g., with feasibility studies, due diligence on waste-to-energy, sorting facilities or biogas projects. Our clients include investors, lenders, developers, private and public entities.The Energy from Waste & Carbon Capture team represent a truly international and dynamic environment and undertake projects worldwide within energy from waste (combustion and other thermal treatment technologies), generation of biogas, waste sorting and resource recovery, carbon capture etc. Our team is recognized as the leading international consultant in this field of business. We provide consulting services out of offices in Copenhagen, Harwell (UK), Zurich, Singapore and Perth (Australia), where both projects and competence teams connect our colleagues.Many of our projects are outside of Singapore and some travel must therefore be expected.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Involved in all phases of energy from waste projects, including feasibility studies, due diligence, project development, liaison with financial and legal advisors, procurement and contracting of projects as well as realisation. The job will include technical aspects.
  • The aim is that you with time take a more and more active role in the technical management part of the job.
  • The technical part will inter alia include mass and energy balances, process diagrams, layout, assessment of different technical options and similar, but also commercial aspects of projects like cost-benefit analysis, procurement strategies, commercial terms and conditions, etc.
  • You will be involved in development of new projects with preparation of sales presentations, analysis of client and client needs, preparation of proposals, market analysis and similar.
  • You will be given introduction to waste-to-energy technology, Ramboll tools and project management model. It is expected that you seek information from colleagues and knowledge about the competences of experts in Ramboll WtE offices and utilise this in your work. You are expected to develop knowledge of the technical aspects of waste-to-energy technologies with the support from your colleagues. Much of the training will be by on-the-job learning.
