Objectives of the Position

For this role, you will work closely with the Global Liner Shipping & Drayage Asia Pacific team and you will gain insights of the detail procurement processes for Liner Shipping.

Main Tasks

• SPOT procurement for Liner Shipping ( Box and Tanks - Freight)
• Facilitate communication with vendors, service recipients, team colleagues in relates to global procurement of oversea container transportation
• Administrative support to the team to ensure regional new services/ requests required is in placed
• Support in data collection, compilation & analysis

Requirements

• Committed to a 6-month internship (Full timer /Part timer) from Aug/Sept 2022.
• Students of Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business or any related disciplines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent time management and work prioritization
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
