As a Group Accounting Intern, you will support the team in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, contributing to smooth group-level consolidation and audit preparation. Your role will help ease operational bottlenecks during the year-end closing process, support compliance with financial reporting standards, and enhance the accuracy and quality of data within financial systems. This internship offers valuable exposure to corporate accounting processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do

Support month-end closing by gathering inputs, tracking submissions, and ensuring data completeness in group reporting systems in line with IFRS and internal guidelines Assist in preparing audit documentation, responding to audit requests, and identifying gaps in data or disclosures Contribute to the review of quarterly financial submissions, performing checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency Support Lucanet SmartNotes projects by mapping GL accounts to statutory line items and improving reporting accuracy Collaborate with the team on process improvements to enhance efficiency, audit readiness, and reporting quality.

What you bring

Undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment Good communication and teamwork skills.
