BASF has been present in Singapore since 1978, supplying customers from various industries, including chemicals, construction, electronics, personal care, and health and nutrition. The company today operates four production facilities in Singapore, as well as Human Nutrition Lab Asia Pacific for its nutrition and health business. Objectives of the Position For this role, you will be based in Suntec Office, Singapore. You shall be reporting 80% to Regional HRBP based in Hong Kong and 20% to Head of Marketing SCALE in Singapore. You will get to learn more about Human Resources and Business Knowledge related to Human Resources, Business and Marketing. Through this internship, you can develop your Project Management skills as you will be assigned to lead mini projects with guidance from management. Your Public Speaking and Communication Skills will be enhanced with opportunity to lead meetings, workshops and manage internal communications platforms. Besides, you will gain international exposure to work with diverse colleagues from different countries in Asia Pacific (APAC).
Main Tasks
Human Resources

• Design and implement People projects and initiatives with Regional HRBP for APAC countries, to foster alignment between company practices and business needs.
• Conceptualize, organize, and facilitate cross-country HR-related workshops.
• Support the implementation of a new regional Sales Incentive Program.
• Comfortable to conduct management presentation to all levels, including Regional Senior Management, and mass communication sessions.
• Lead mini projects and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage Regional Internal Communications platforms.

Marketing & Business Development

• Support Regional and local countries marketing activities to boost sales and develop new market opportunities.
• Conceptualize, organize, and conduct cross-country marketing-related workshops.
• Initiate digitalization project ideas to improve and streamline current processes to achieve more efficient process.
• Lead creation of communication materials for marketing project initiatives.

Requirements

• Committed for a minimum of 3 months internship from August 2022.
• Students with Bachelor’s Human Resource/ Business Management/ Psychology / Mass Communications or any related disciplines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Independent, Entrepreneurial, Proactive to learn, Open to diverse tasks and Responsible.
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
