Job FunctionWarehouse OperationsJob SummaryThe Intern - Logistics Services will be immersed in a challenging and stimulating environment, working closely with our experienced supply chain professionals to support various aspects of our logistics operations. You will actively participate in warehouse management including shipping and receiving deliveries, transportation coordination, conducting stock checks, documenting warehouse transactions and records, and storing of inventory and customer service activities, gaining practical knowledge and developing essential skills required for a successful career in logistics.During your internship, you will have the chance to apply theoretical concepts learned in your coursework to real-world scenarios. You will be exposed to industry best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and efficient processes that drive our logistics operations. This internship will provide you with a deep understanding of supply chain management, distribution networks, and the critical role logistics plays in facilitating the movement of goods and services.In addition to hands-on training, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our experienced supply chain professionals, learn from their expertise, and receive valuable mentorship and guidance. You will be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned business operations.Stable and systematic, he is expected work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish his work.By the end of your internship, you will have developed a solid foundation of practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional experience, positioning you for future success in this field.Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)Warehouse Operations

• Assist in data entry and documentation related to logistics operations
• Coordinate arrangement or rotation of warehouse cargo and items
• Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts
• Assist in loading and unloading activities, adhering to company\'s safety protocols
• Perform stock control and housekeeping operations of warehouse cargo and items

Transportation and Distribution

• Assist in coordinating and scheduling transportation activities
• Support the documentation and tracking of shipments

Freight Forwarding

• Arrange booking of freight services with customers or co-loaders and carriers

Technology Application

• Operate technology or electronic tools and devices

Customer Service

• Assist in resolving any logistics-related issues or concerns
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates

Continuous Improvement Activities

• Contribute to continuous improvement intiatives to improve work processes

Safety and Health

• Perform WSH activities to ensure compliance

Others

• Undertake any assigned projects/duties directed by supervisors/managers.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Basic understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit to perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting and moving goods

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Currently pursuing NITEC in Logistics Services or a related field.
