The Opportunity Marvell connects the connected car with high quality AEC-Q100 qualified products and solutions that include Marvell's first to market combo Wi-Fi /Bluetooth solution pioneering the Marvell Mobile Hotspot as an automotive use case, built-in Audio Codec, storage, bridges, and Ethernet domains providing automotive infotainment, wired/ wireless connectivity and co-application processor platforms that function in the following applications: Automotive Ethernet, Automotive Wireless, Automotive Storage. Today's bandwidth-intensive online lifestyle-from cloud-centric networks to streaming video-requires high-performance with uncompromised quality. Legacy broadband is based on copper infrastructures such as DSL, an aging technology with high maintenance costs that is running out of bandwidth. Optical access is now taking stage to better address the demands of these networks. Marvell's optical broadband AVANTA family features highly integrated solutions that leverage key Marvell technologies-PON, Ethernet and packet processing, voice processing, power management, and application processors. AVANTA SoCs also include special power management modes that reduce power based on usage and coupled with latest Alaska Gigabit PHYs support the EEE standard. Marvell switching solutions have been driving a change in networks from the traditional methods of simply moving bits to delivering exciting services and applications. Job Responsibilities: As an engineer in the Product Engineering organization at Marvell, you will be part of a brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. In this role, you could be working with our design, product & test development team in US supporting new product introduction projects & activities to ensure smooth transition of these new products from development to manufacturing phase, or you could be working with the product team & responsible for imagining, building, deploying and running one or more of our products for mass production. You will setup the test program, hardware and test out the devices on one of the most advanced industrial test systems across our test locations in Asia. When devices or test issues are uncovered, you will perform fail analysis, debugging (software/hardware) and work closely with the various engineering & development groups to resolve the observed issues. Beside resolving devices testing issues, you will also undertake projects for cost reduction & continuous improvement. Perform new device characterization, circuit sensitivity analysis, interpret findings & support root-cause investigations. Perform data mining and statistical data analysis on wafer sort and final test parametric to support initial product assessment. Perform functional testing and analysis to ensure product operation and reliability. Plan and coordinate (data analysis, debug, root-cause, implementing solutions) yield & test time improvement activities to meet the set mass production release goals. Support & resolve Test engineering & program related issues. Setup & transfer new product & technology to test locations in Asia for mass production. Support & resolve Product engineering & device testing related issues. Maintain and enhance product test yield & quality of devices in final test, system level test as well as wafer & bump sort. Perform cost reduction activities e.g., product yield improvement, test insertion elimination, test time reduction, multiple test site enhancement & wafer sort implementation. Continuous improvement for product quality, test efficiency, production throughput & test hardware improvement Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to theories, principles and concepts.
