Regional Treasury Centre Singapore provides treasury services to Mercedes-Benz entities in the APAC region.

This role provides real world knowledge of working with colleagues in the APAC region and gain experience by interacting with customers and banks.

Job Role:

Export Credit and Account Receivables Management (50%):

• Support in Export Credit, Collateral Management, Financial releases of shipments
• Support in Account Receivables and Overdue Management
• Preparation of monthly reports for analyzing credit receivables

Markets (20%):

• Support the Markets and Execution team on collation of market rates from external/internal sources.
• Assist in periodic reporting of market spreads to internal stakeholders.

Projects and Admin (30%):

• Assist to create/ maintain Excel and PowerBI spreadsheet-based reports and enhance data collection and analysis.
• Provide supporting role in the Project Management Office for on-going projects. Student will be able to gain exposure in managing various stakeholders.
• Support the creation and maintenance of workflows and manuals.
• Support Head of Treasury in creating management level presentations.
• Support in organizing regional events.

Qualifications:

• Preferably pursuing a Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Good English communication and social competence skills.
• Good presentation and visualization skills.
• Proficiency in IT systems, office processing tools e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Macros, PowerBI
• High degree of reliability, independence, pro-activeness, and a strong team player.
• Detail oriented, open minded and able to work in a cross-cultural environment.
