At the heart of the business is TEAM LEWIS Foundation. In January 2021, there was a need to respond to the challenges the COVID pandemic brought to communities and charitable organisations. TEAM LEWIS saw that support was crucial and change was needed to make that happen. Our local causes scheme was launched. Every member of TEAM LEWIS can nominate a local cause close to their heart to receive a cash donation. In addition, nominated causes can also benefit from a donation in kind of expertise, time, and resources. In the past year TEAM LEWIS has donated almost $2million to 445 causes around the world.

Purpose of the Role




The Intern provides administrative support to the wider Account Servicing team. The role requires the ability to handle a number of tasks and projects at any one time. The Intern will develop a clear understanding of the team's requirements and objectives, be proactive in attitude and supportive to the team at all times.

Key responsibilities and tasks




Client Management

Supports the new business process by providing research and coordination Assists with the coordination of press tours, events and review programmes
Media Relations

Researches and identifies appropriate journalists, bloggers and analysts on an on-going basis Monitors relevant news sources and alerts the team to relevant breaking news opportunities Organises and coordinates media interviews and press briefings
Content


Drafts a broad range of written materials Creates press materials and compelling content for both traditional and digital media Simple social media management (Must be fairly familiar with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)
Reporting and analysis


Tracks and reports on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, online media engagement, showing progress using metrics Communicates account performance internally at account reviews Provides reports to the Campaign Director or senior management team on request
General


Supports the Account Servicing team on ad hoc initiatives and projects Takes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its work, identity and values

Requirements




Inquisitive nature Calmness under pressure and ability to deliver to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) Attention to detail Professional and approachable telephone manner Flexible attitude Interested in building a career in integrated marketing - across PR, social, data, digital No experience needed


This will be a 3 or 6 month internship role, with a view of a permanent role at the end of internship depending on business and individual performance.
