Job Description

What the role is:The National Arts Council seeks an intern who is keen to develop understanding in key aspects of work undertaken by the NAC, and skillsets in marketing, partnership and administration. This role will mainly support the Singapore Art Week (SAW) team.What you will be working on:Support the SAW team in developing a marketing campaign and oversee the SAW supported projects like SAW X PA projects, for instance.Assist to compile and keep track of events across stakeholders such as arts groups, partners, and cultural institutions.Maintain and update content for the SAW website.Assist the SAW team in marketing and publicity matters which may include development of visual communication and social media content.Research and update list of participating galleries and artists in key art fairs presented internationally.Assist in general administration for the Visual Arts team through data analysis of visual arts grants statistics in recent years and develop a trend report.Other duties as assigned.\xe2\x80\x8bWhat we are looking for:

• Interest in visual arts, festival programming, marketing and arts management.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Comfortable with website Content Management Systems.
• Organised and detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Interest in research and data analysis.
• Proactive, independent and a good team player.
• Prior experience in project management for arts programmes is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design is a bonus.
