The Opportunity:

The EY International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) team invites you to join us and be part of an era of transformative tax journey.
Today, we see innovative business models continually emerge as countries face structural challenges and trends, such as climate change, acceleration of digitisation, and changing consumer behaviour. These, together with the evolving global tax reforms like BEPS 2.0, have increased the complexities of doing business. This era of changes sees Tax becoming more diverse, complex and crucial to businesses.
In EY International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS), we provide flexible opportunities for you to hone single, dual or multi-disciplinary tax skillsets, be it international tax, M&A, or business incentives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will work with our ITTS engagement teams on developing a proof of concept for a digital products that could be used by our clients and internal stakeholders.
The end product will be a smart, interactive chatbot that helps users make better business decisions by:
Answering complex questions using information from internal reports and external data sources. Comparing locations or options dynamically, combining cost data, labor availability, and qualitative insights. Providing instant summaries and recommendations based on uploaded documents like PDFs and Word files. Showing source references and citations so users can trust the information. Visualizing key metrics through embedded dashboards for quick analysis. Supporting secure access so only authorized users can interact with the tool.

This prototype will demonstrate how AI and data integration can transform decision-making for location studies, cost analysis, and strategic planning.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

Pursuing university degree related to Analytics, Computing, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology Good understanding of Azure Services + Azure OpenAI Service (GPT-4 or GPT-4o-mini) + Azure Cognitive Search (including vector search and document ingestion)
+ Azure Blob Storage
+ Azure Active Directory (authentication basics)
Experience in Data Integration projects + SharePoint or Dataverse for structured data storage + Basic SQL or Excel integration for quantitative data
Proficient in + Frontend Development + - React (or similar frameworks) for web UI
+ Backend/API
+ - REST API integration with Azure services
Familiarity with + Power Platform + - Power Apps (UI development)
- Power BI (basic dashboard creation)
+ Bot Development (Azure Bot Service or Power Virtual Agents)
+ Scripting languages (Python or C#) for automation and data processing
