This vacancy focusses on positions within TRM department.TRM covers market risk management and product control management within ING.- Under market risk management and control, the team ensures that the trading (Financial Markets) and banking books of the bank are governed in line with the risk appetite set by the board and the senior management- Product control activities are related to controlling the P&L and balance sheet of the different trading desks under Financial Markets (including Group Treasury).What would you be doing?Duties and responsibilitiesSingapore is the regional hub for ING, including for market risk activities. There are a number of different Financial Markets desks controlled/supported by TRM including rates, credits, FX, structured products, non-linear derivatives, etc. The internship would cover:Understanding the business of several desks and how the risk framework is designed to control the activitiesConsolidation of Daily P&L and Risk reporting for the Asia regionSupport the product teams in Singapore in increasing the automation of tasks to enhance efficiency as well as control.Working on ongoing ad hoc projects related to risk, product control management and process improvementAssisting the team lead in specific product control analysis as and when requiredThere would be exposure to policies and procedures governing this desk, which in turn are based on a number of items including regulations, bank\xe2\x80\x99s risk management philosophy, current economic climate, etc.What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:You should have legal work rights in the country of internship.Major in Finance/Accounting and Quantitative Finance streamsGood written and oral communication skillsShould have sufficient knowledge of MS ExcelVBA / coding and/or MS SQL database knowledge is a plusGood time management and adaptabilityCompliance and integrityCollaborative and be pro-active in helping the teamWhat would you gain from this internship?Exposures to various Financial Market businesses which includes their respective risk profiles and P&L, risk management framework and Product control activities of the different trading desks under Financial Markets.Need more information?
