COMPANY DESCRIPTION

PetroSeraya Pte. Ltd is the physical oil trading and tank leasing arm of the YTL PowerSeraya Group. Its establishment on 2 April 2007 marks the Group's strategic move to optimise its fuel management assets.



As YTL PowerSeraya's subsidiary, it plays a key role in managing the Group's fuel purchases which constitutes part of the power generation cost. Through direct sourcing and its bulk purchases, it is more likely to secure better prices and achieve greater economies of scale.



DESIGNATION : Intern - Tank Management (Maintenance)



RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Intern, you will support the Terminal Operations Maintenance team in preparing and structuring technical maintenance data for integration into the Maximo system. This role offers exposure to maintenance planning, technical documentation, and system data readiness that supports operational continuity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in consolidating and validating technical information on equipment such as pumps, tanks, and pipelines. Support the creation and cleanup of asset and equipment master data for Maximo. Organise and digitise maintenance checklists and preventive maintenance schedules. Interpret and cross-reference technical drawings (e.g., P&IDs, schematics) with equipment records. Help prepare base data templates and upload files into the Maintenance Management System (MMS). Collaborate with engineers to align preventive maintenance tasks with equipment. Assist in reviewing maintenance planning documentation for compliance readiness. Support documentation efforts for internal reference and audits




QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

Pursuing diploma / degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Interest in maintenance planning, technical documentation, or engineering systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings or a willingness to learn. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently. Experience with maintenance systems or AutoCAD is an advantage.
