What the role is:The Community Relations and Engagement Division (CRED) fosters a cohesive, caring and active community. We formulate and review policies to nurture harmonious relations among racial and religious communities, and to create a vibrant voluntary and philanthropic sector. We provide secretariat support to the National Steering Committee (NSC) on Racial and Religious Harmony and the Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circles (IRCCs). We work closely with the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre to promote volunteerism and charitable giving as a way of life. The intern will be attached to the Engagement Branch of the Community Relations and Engagement Division to expand the volunteer pool of youth leaders in the Racial and Religious Harmony Circles (formerly known as Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circles). Additionally, the intern will contribute and coordinate various activities and events as part of the Racial and Religious Harmony Month in July.What you will be working on:
