The broad area of your responsibilities include \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan, conduct, and oversee audits, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute advisory, educational, and ad hoc projects, driving initiatives aimed at enhancing organisational effectiveness. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate internal control effectiveness and provide insightful recommendations for business process improvements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare detailed reports summarising audit findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities, and deliver engaging presentations to Management and the Audit Committee. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate annual audit planning activities, identifying priority areas for review and optimising resource allocation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise independent auditors, maintaining collaborative relationships and ensuring adherence to audit standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the Whistleblowing program, cultivating a culture of transparency and accountability within the Board. \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead investigations into potential policy breaches or irregularities, ensuring impartiality and confidentiality. \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake additional duties as assigned to support audit and Board\'s objectives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of audit functions.What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record in conducting internal audits and hands-on experience in evaluating internal controls. \xe2\x80\xa2 Relevant supervisory experience in conducting internal audits \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to lead audit teams for complex projects, demonstrating effective team management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate a strong understanding of internal control frameworks and business processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good planning, organising, and leading audit teams, particularly for more complex audit projects, showcasing effective team management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in preparing detailed reports that effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations to both Management and the Audit Committee. \xe2\x80\xa2 Committed to uphold ethical standards in conducting internal audits, ensuring integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the role. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility in handling various audit assignments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good critical thinking skills and ability to analyse complex situations, identify key issues, and formulate effective solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferred qualifications include holding certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor). \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in Computer Assisted Auditing Tools (CAATs) would be advantageous, showcasing the ability to leverage technology for enhanced audit processes. The successful candidate will hold the corporate title of Assistant Director/ Deputy Director, with seniority based on individual work experiences.
