Job Description


The role: International Marketing Manager. This is a remote position with minimal travel required. There is a preference for the candidate to be located in Southeast Asia.

GED Testing Service is seeking a proven marketer to manage international marketing efforts and go-to-market strategies for the high school equivalency credential, developing and executing digital marketing plans to grow international student volume, including but not limited to efforts across social media, email, website, and paid digital advertising.

Your focus will be on the student market in Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Europe. You will work closely with international media partners and collaborate with the GED International program team. We are seeking a well-rounded marketing self-starter who can think strategically and is eager to execute integrated marketing campaigns and tactics. You will come to the table with fresh ideas and insights, you understand digital trends and have a positive, and you have a solutions-oriented attitude.

Our Team: As a joint venture between the American Council on Education and Pearson, GED Testing Service has opened doors to better jobs and college programs for over 20 million graduates since 1942. The GED test is accepted by virtually all U.S. colleges and employers. As the creator of the one official GED test, GED Testing Service has a responsibility to ensure that the program continues to be a reliable and valuable pathway to a better life for the millions of adults without a high school diploma.

As the International Marketing Manager, you\'ll be responsible for:

Create and develop marketing plans to increase international student enrollment.

Plan marketing strategies for international markets.

Oversee international marketing activation to increase marketing performance in the region.

Collaborate and coordinate with marketing and media partners in different countries.

Ensure daily operation and recruitment processes smooth with internal and external partners.

Analyze market opportunities and initiates ideas about education trends for the organization to support curriculum development.

Digital marketing support, by preparing the media calendar and content in each region.

*To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: *

Master\'s or bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of international marketing experience & Digital Marketing experience

Experience in a marketing and management role (Experience in the Education industry will be highly regarded)

Extensive experience in a Marketing role, including high-volume campaign initiation and coordination in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
