Job Description

• Position: Preschool Principal
• Location: 2 bus stops from Little India or Novena MRT
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | 9am to 6pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 + AWS + Medical/Dental $350/year + 18 Days Annual Leave
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Education | International Preschool

Responsibilities: Educational Leadership:

• Implement IB curriculum that supports the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
• Ensure that the curriculum aligns with the requirements of the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) in Singapore.

Management and Administration:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center.
• Manage staff, including teachers and support personnel.
• Maintain records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle parent communication and concerns professionally.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that the childcare center meets or exceeds all licensing and accreditation standards.
• Conduct regular safety drills and maintain a safe and secure environment for children.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance to maintain high-quality care.

Staff Development:

• Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

• Candidate MUST BE a Certified Childcare Principal with the Diploma in Pre-school Leadership (DPL).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Childcare Principal in a licensed childcare center.
• Excellent knowledge of Singapore\'s early childhood education regulations and guidelines.
• Knowledge of IB program is an added advantage BUT not a must - Training will be provided, must be willing to learn
