What the role is:"The Foresight & Futures project aims to enhance MND\'s strategic planning and decision-making processes for the I&E sector by incorporating foresight methodologies and future thinking. This project recognizes the importance of anticipating and preparing for future trends, disruptions, and opportunities to ensure the I&E sector\'s long-term success and resilience in a rapidly changing world. The project will involve conducting research, scenario planning, and developing strategic recommendations based on emerging trends and potential future scenarios. This particular deep dive is an ongoing research study to uncover the potential impacts of technology and other driving forces on the nature of work arrangements, and the types of infra provisions needed in order for Singapore to remain competitive and attractive to talent/businesses in the future. "What you will be working on:1. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on various industries, technologies, social trends, and global developments to identify emerging patterns and potential future scenarios. Analyze data and information to extract insights and develop a comprehensive understanding of the potential impacts on the organization. 2. Data Gathering: Collect relevant data from various sources, including reports, articles, databases, and interviews. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data collected and maintain a well-organized database for future reference. 3. Trend Monitoring: Monitor and track emerging trends and developments in the external environment. Stay updated on industry news, technological advancements, and social changes that may have implications for the organization\'s future strategies. 4. Scenario Planning: Contribute to the development of future scenarios by collaborating with the foresight team. Assist in creating plausible and impactful scenarios that can help the organization anticipate and prepare for potential challenges and opportunities. 5.
