What the role is:
At IRAS, we aim to be a leading tax agency known for our efficient services, expertise and integrity. We are looking for committed team players to co-develop the next generation of ICT systems that improve how millions of taxpayers connect and interact with us.
What you will be working on:
You will be assigned to both projects: 1) Streamlining and Automating the Data Sharing Process o Analyse and understand the current data sharing workflow to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. o Design and develop automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate, including data extraction solutions to capture information from documents and route approvals to designated stakeholders o Develop Power BI dashboards to provide clear, insightful visualisations for management, enhancing data-driven decision-making. 2) Developing a Bot for Data-Related Queries o Build and deploy a Bot with an intuitive user interaction flow that enables users to easily navigate and access relevant information. o Ensure that generated responses are relevant and useful for users' self-help needs.
What we are looking for:
o A self-motivated and adaptable team player with resilience and strong interpersonal communication skills. o Familiar with Microsoft applications such as Power Query and Power Automate, as well as data visualisation tools like Power BI. o Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities in identifying and suggesting process automation solutions. o Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. o Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Python will be useful. The internship will be for a period of about 16 weeks from Oct/Nov'25 to Feb/Mar'26.
