Job Description

This role will enable the student to obtain in-depth knowledge and experience upon facilities operations & maintenance which covers major equipment such as chillers, cooling towers etc. and understanding redundancy requirements, energy management, sustainability and maintenance strategies.

In your new role you will:

Develop and implement equipment operations and maintenance plans

for major equipment such as chillers and cooling towers

Assist in utility management, including monitoring and analyzing energy usage and costs

to identify opportunities for energy conservation and sustainability Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and implement sustainability strategies, including energy-efficient practices and waste reduction initiatives Support project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of facilities-related projects

Apply engineering principles to solve facilities-related problems and improve equipment operations and maintenance

Internship Learning Outcomes

:

Develop and implement maintenance concepts, including preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment reliability and redundancy

Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to optimize facilities operations and contribute to operational excellence

Collaborate with facilities teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies and sustainability initiatives Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including facilities staff, engineers, and management, to ensure successful project outcomes

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

On track to attain Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical & Electronic / Material Science / Mechanical / Computer Engineering with a positive mindset

Studied Physics or engineering related subjects in G.C.E."O level" or equivalent Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint - Good and positive attitude - Able to prioritize tasks and meet timeline Willing to learn and interact with people
