The Opportunity
We aim to further shape and advance the way diabetes is treated by leveraging our integrated Personalised Diabetes Management approach (iPDM) - a holistic, patient-centric concept to diabetes management that includes connected devices, services, and digital solutions in an open ecosystem which will contribute to limiting the progression of the disease, and improving outcomes thus eventually promoting healthcare system sustainability. In order to do so, we are continuously refining our internal structures and processes to best serve evolving customer and market demand in a
seamless and agile way. This enables us to deliver on our commitment to augment access to the most innovative iPDM solutions tailored to the needs of people with diabetes, their caregivers, and healthcare systems - today and in the future. As an intern within the Commercial Communications Chapter of the Roche Diabetes Care Global Communications team, you will play an important role in leading and implementing relevant aspects of the iPDM Strategy and thereby contribute to the overall Diabetes Care Vision at Roche.
The Position
An internship in the Global Communications team of Roche Diabetes Care at our site in Singapore offers you the opportunity to apply your communications knowledge and social media skills as well as to obtain insights into the diabetes care business.
During your internship in the Global Communications team:
\xe2\x97\x8f You will be part of an international Communications team based in Singapore
\xe2\x97\x8f Your focus will be internal and digital communications via our multiple Diabetes Care Communication Channels, such as the Global Diabetes Care Intranet and Google Currents, and you will work with us on a vast variety of communication campaigns
\xe2\x97\x8f You will contribute to challenging projects and get specific project parts that you can finalise independently
\xe2\x97\x8f You will gather, analyse and review data via Google Analytics and similar tools, to optimise the use of our channels and the impact of our communication campaigns
\xe2\x97\x8f You will design and develop presentations, ready-to-use training tools, communication materials and websites
\xe2\x97\x8f You will have a personal contact person offering day-to-day coaching and additional insights into diabetes care, communications and brand management

For the internship position the following qualifications are required:
\xe2\x97\x8f Talent coupled with interest for communications and communication tools
\xe2\x97\x8f Registration during the internship in communications, media management or business administration
\xe2\x97\x8f At least 1 year of studies in a bachelor programme
\xe2\x97\x8f Short work experience, internships and studies abroad are a plus
\xe2\x97\x8f Good knowledge of Google G Suite, in particular G Sites and Currents; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint or programming skills are a plus
\xe2\x97\x8f Fluent in English
\xe2\x97\x8f Self-starting capabilities, openness to new topics, commitment, analytic skills and creativity
