Job Description

The student, as part of the PSS Supply Chain Planning (SCP) team in Singapore, will undergo a training plan to understand the supply chain fundamentals within IFX. The student will be mainly involved in digitalization/process improvement projects related to a wide range of supply chain topics, related to Supply Chain planning as well as Demand Management functions.

In your new role you will:

• Assist in the daily management of supply chain operations execution
• Provide project management support & coordinatio n across the supply chain functions as needed
• Manage and maintain KPI reports and key logistics data parameters
• Provide support in process improvements and creation of reporting automation

Internship learning outcomes:

• Understand the IFX supply chain in greater detail with reference to the SCOR model
• Learn the different supply chain processes related to demand-supply matching, forecasting and inventory management
• Gain skills and experience in digitalization/process improvement projects

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• On track to attain Degree in Business administration / Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Data Science and Analytics
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Excellent analytical and systematic skills to evaluate complex data and processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications : Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Pivot tables, VBA coding)
• Proficient in data visualization & analytics tools such as Tableau, SQL and Python
• Familiar with data visualization & analytics tools (e.g. Tableau), strong programming language (e.g. SQL, Python etc) and AI skills (e.g. ML, NLP, RPA etc. )
