Job SummarySUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all records pertaining to the quantity, type and value of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies stocked in all stores, offices, warehouses and all other storage areas of all companies are accurate and verified against the actual physical count of stocks/equipment/merchandise; and reports any discrepancies to management in a timely manner.Responsibilities and Duties

  • Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in all stores, offices, warehouses and all other storage areas in the EBR Group of Companies.
  • Counts stocks, materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies and compares inventories to inventory records manually or using computer.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Prepares inventory monthly reports according to the schedules and deadlines set by the Accounting Manager.
  • Assists Receiving Clerks in tagging newly acquired assets and inventory items for all companies immediately upon arrival.
  • Prepares reports of depleted items, defective and unusable items.
  • Supports other departments as needed or directed; relieves/replaces those who are absent in other departments when needed and directed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills and QualificationsQualifications:
  • Candidate must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, BS Information Technology, or any business related degree.
  • Well-developed computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced as accounting clerk is a plus but fresh graduate are also welcome.
  • Knowledge in using computerized accounting system is a plus but not necessary.
  • Can work with less supervision
  • Team Player, physically fit, honest and hardworking.
