Job Description


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Counts, sorts, and checks incoming articles; verifies against requisitions, shipping notices, or invoices.
  • Responsible for handling the daily inventory outbound or inbound.
  • Stocks housekeeping in an orderly and neat appearance.
  • Works with Merchandiser to check inventory periodically to determine reordering needs and verify with records; requisitions standard stock items, supplies, or materials within established limits; notifies designated staff of fast-moving items.
  • Places or changes price tags on merchandise; places tags, markers, or labels on product.
  • Packs and ships packages according to instructions using boxes, packing materials, and sealing tape.
  • Records or documents changes in inventory.
  • Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate. Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels.
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure they can be reconciled.
  • Gathers requisitioned supplies, merchandise, or materials and prepares for delivery or pick-up.
  • Conducting and assisting monthly stock count.
  • Other inventory-related jobs assigned.
