About ORMC
Office of Risk Management and Compliance (ORMC) strives to be a trusted business and governance partner in the sustainable creation, optimization and protection of the university\'s overall enterprise value through a best-in-class risk and governance system. This is via instilling and embedding a proactive risk culture within the university that is complemented by a comprehensive and robust risk management and governance framework. With a structured methodology and approach in anticipating, identifying and assessing and prioritizing, treating, monitoring and responding to the portfolio of risks across the organization.
The candidate is responsible for providing expertise and guidance for end-to-end university level investigations dealing with staff irregularities and breaches under the various legislations. The candidate is required to work with the respective stakeholders to conduct investigations in a timely manner to minimise financial losses, reputational, regulatory, and operational risks involving criminal conduct, dishonesty, and deliberate breaches of policies or regulations in the university.
Besides investigation, the candidate is also expected to work within the ecosystems of the various clusters and liaise with stakeholders to promote compliance, conduct sensing, gather intelligence, while being cyber-risk aware.
The incumbent will report to the Head in ORMC\'s Investigations Unit.
