What the role is:The Investigation Branch investigates into offences under the legislations under MSF\'s purview, including the Vulnerable Adults Act, Adoption of Children Act and part of Women\'s Charter.What you will be working on:As a Senior Investigation Officer, you will be part of a team of officers to investigate into offences reported under the legislations that are under the purview of MSF, including the Vulnerable Adult Act, Adoption of Children Act and Women\'s Charter. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 You will report to the Head Investigation Branch, and Manager Investigation Branch. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will manage and investigate into offences reported under the legislations that are under the purview of MSF, including the Vulnerable Adult Act, Adoption of Children Act and Women\'s Charter. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be required to investigate into offences under other new legislations under MSF as and when enacted. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be rostered as Duty IO as part of a team to provide response to VAA offences cases on 24/7 basis, including after office hours and weekends/public holidays. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will be expected to be arrive at scene on 1 hr NTM when required during your tour of duty. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will need to decide and recommend investigations actions and field operations to be carried out, such as evidence gathering, identification of perpetrators. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will put up recommendations on the outcome of investigations to address AGC. \xe2\x80\xa2 You may be recallable for exigency duties outside of office hours. \xe2\x80\xa2 You will need to abide by internal SOP and guidelines regarding investigation work in MSF. \xe2\x80\xa2 You may need to work with the other law enforcement agencies for referral of cases or parallel investigations where necessary.What we are looking for:

  • At least a tertiary education in any discipline, with 3 to 5 years of experience in criminal investigation work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in conducting interviews and recording of statements for court prosecution purpose. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of other relevant law statues is an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communications and inter-personal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of English is required for putting up submissions for court prosecutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess the ability to solve problems and think creatively. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and a good team-player.
