Your role

Do you have sharp analytical and issue-spotting skills, strongest integrity and enjoy working in a dynamic team of highly skilled experts?
The APAC Group Investigations team is looking for someone like this to:

• conduct internal investigations (including whistleblowing investigations);
• participate in cross-functional investigation teams for larger investigations;

prepare investigation reports;

• support and advise other investigating functions;
• analyze the portfolio of investigations in Asia Pacific; and
• support the Regional Head Investigations APAC in overseeing the Asia Pacific investigation portfolio and keeping stakeholders informed.

Your team

Group Investigations has been established as a group-wide competence center for investigations under the Group investigations framework across UBS. It conducts key investigations, provides cyber forensics, e-discovery and data analytics services for its own investigations and those undertaken by other functions. It also delivers comprehensive reporting to the governance bodies within Asia Pacific. Group Investigations has four regional investigation teams in Zurich, London, New York and Asia Pacific (Hong Kong and Singapore), comprising multi-disciplinary skills and expertise typically found in professional services firms and in-house audit, legal and information technology departments. Our aim is to attract talents who want to leverage their skills and experience whilst also being keen to learn from colleagues and contribute to the success of Group Investigations.
We aim at providing effective investigative work by efficiently deploying the firm\'s subject-matter-experts knowledge and providing state-of-the-art infrastructure. We ensure a coherent framework for and reporting over individual cases and the overall portfolio and work with all stakeholders to appropriately position investigation results and embed lessons learned. As a multi-disciplinary team we analyze topics from various aspects, including assessment of business processes, control framework and behavior.

Your expertise

You have

• relevant experience from an investigation-related role in financial services, or in areas of law, audit, compliance, enforcement or forensics, preferably in banking or with banking sector experience in assessing control frameworks and behavior;
• strong written and oral communication skills and an excellent command of English;
• Mandarin language skills preferred; and
• strong project management skills, relationship-building skills and the ability to interact and work with people from different functions, locations and cultures at all levels.
