About this role: As part of the Corporate Affairs & Marketing team, the Specialist APAC Co-Marketing (aka partnerships marketing) is a key component of FTSE Russell\xe2\x80\x99s global sales & marketing department. Partnership marketing is a client-facing function that serves B2B2C client segments including ETF issuers (Exchange Traded Funds), asset managers, derivatives & stock exchanges, and other strategic partners.
The Specialist, APAC Co-Marketing, FTSE Russell will work with the marketing teams of external client accounts as well as our internal stakeholders (sales/account management, product marketing, activation & digital marketing, brand/content, PR, product management, applied research) to define, develop, execute, and measure integrated co-marketing campaigns
Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery and execution of co-marketing activities associated with these segments in the region, in alignment with equivalent role holders in EMEA and Americas. In this role, you will be instrumental in raising awareness of FTSE Russell\xe2\x80\x99s index component embedded into our clients\xe2\x80\x99 index-linked investment products, in contributing to growing assets under management and in increasing revenues. In particular, you will:
Raise awareness of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 index-linked products to craft, orchestrate and deliver mutually beneficial strategic go-to-market campaigns in partnership with clients and product marketing teams
Stimulate investor demand to drive capabilities awareness across our partner ecosystem by curating, developing and localizing content for partner communication channels (for example informative videos/webinars, events, newsletters, infographics, web pages, campaigns, press etc),
Accelerate asset gathering and increase revenues
You will be using tools from the marketing mix and successfully partner with our key functions across the global marketing team and APAC stakeholders to execute these co-marketing programs. You will seize opportunities like product launches, benchmark switches, industry and market events to plan/execute and enable regional sales teams.
You are instrumental in bringing to life FTSE Russell\'s IP component that is embedded inside our partners\' investment products by:
Pulling into the spotlight a crucial ingredient of their final product (the "Intel inside"),
Adding a layer of value to that end-product\xe2\x80\x99s overall proposition,
Enhancing perception and marketability of that brand or end-product.
Key behaviors and skills
2-5+ years of marketing experience in a B2B (or B2B2C) environment (indexation, exchanges, fund management, ETFs, wire house, brokerage or wealth management an advantage)
Good knowledge of the ETF and/or derivatives and/or wealth management industries in APAC
Strong planning and project management skills
Excellent relationship management, presentation and communication skills
Experience in the full marketing mix
Desire to learn about product/usage of indexes for asset management purposes
Degree level education
