Our client is a leading insurance firm with strong collaboration culture within the team. They are currently looking for a highly motivated Investment Accountant who specializes in MAS RBC2 compliance to join the dynamic team.

Responsibilities

As the Investment Accountant, you will manage investment accounting processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, reconciliation, and valuation of assets. Your expertise in MAS RBC2 compliance will be essential for calculating and reporting risk capital adequacy ratios. Additionally, you will contribute to financial reporting, supporting the preparation of statements, disclosures, and regulatory reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

You will assess investment portfolios for risks and collaborate with the risk management team. Analyzing investment data will provide insights for decision-making and portfolio optimization. Effective communication with stakeholders, coupled with staying updated on regulatory changes, is critical.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in investment accounting. Professional certifications like CPA or CFA are advantageous. Knowledge of financial reporting standards, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication are key. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to regulatory compliance complete the profile.
