An exciting Investment Analyst job has just been made available at a private equity firm that focuses on quality mid-sized investments across South-East Asia. This role came about due to internal promotions, and they are looking to hire an up-and-comer who is passionate about investing and companies.

About the Investment Analyst Role:
You will report to the Directors and the Investment Manager directly and will be exposed to, and assist with, various financial tasks, analysis and deal research. By virtue of it being a lean team in Singapore, this role will also expose you to a variety of different tasks, including liaising with the investor relations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform market research, competitive analysis, and other ad-hoc research as needed for the ongoing/new deals
• Conduct financial projections and analysis for new deals
• Prepare/amend financial models (DCF/LBO)
• Assist in the preparation of investment memorandums, pitch decks and quarterly investor updates and newsletters
• Participate in pitch meetings with investors when required
• Build and maintain relationships with investment partners and investors
• Assist the Directors and the Investment Manager on due diligence materials
• Be involved in a variety of tasks for a deal from initiation to execution across different segments
• Provide support to the Managing Director and perform other related duties and assignments

To succeed in this Investment Analyst role, you will have to be passionate about investing and have an innate sense of curiosity about sectors and companies across the ASEAN region. We seek someone who has a good attitude towards learning.

Key Requirements:

• Oneto two years\' experience in valuations, investment banking, private equity or consulting
• Undergraduate degree from a good university in the disciplines of Applied Finance, Economics, Mathematics
• Demonstrated passion for investing
• Ability to build a discounted cash flow model and a leveraged buyout model from scratch
